We don't do small talk at the Comix file, so I'll cut to the chase: There's a new segment here where I will rely on your views. Go back to the first post I made and view it as many times as you can. By the end of the week, I will tally the views. If there are....

The gist

Comix presents a new segment called the gist, in which I will list items following one theme. Today's theme is: Epic Face's science project. Bleach, lighter fluid, gasoline, ammonia, lint, 12 static jigawatts of electricity, plutoinum, magneseum, corrupted D.N.A, pop rocks, and soda. That'll be a pretty cool volcano, Epic Face!








Well, I'm gonna check if anyone survived that explosion. Take it from here Epic Face.

Character of the week

Greetings all who are of the Comix fanbase. In honor of memorial day, the Comix file's character of the week this week is Ameri-Can.

Species: Starry stripey raptor.

Appearance: A bald eagle with a torso adorned with red and white stripes, and wings and a head that are blue with white starlike markings.

Friends: Loved by all.

Job: To protect and serve.

Size: 2'0 feet tall. Wingspan of  4'0 feet across.

Food: Likes pancakes.

T.C.F is back with the lowdown on the featured short ala week. This week's nominee is.....
''Guide to fruit"

Plot: Epic Face recites the known species of fruit and ends up rage-quitting.

Characters: Epic Face.

Fruits named: Mandarin, apple, orange, pineapple, banana, rambutan, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, watermelon, casaba melon, grape, grapefruit, pear, lemon, tomato, passion, mango, durian, lime, coconut, dragonfruit, peach, plum, nectarine, date, pomegranate, cantaloupe, strawberry, kiwi, starfruit.

Trivia

Testing trivial boundaries, the Comix file brings you this fact:

Toucans are supposedly very lazy birds. Hey, Tikan, could you pass the chips? What do you mean they're closer to me? See what I mean? Lazy bird.  Well, I'm gonna go try to get Tikan to get out of the fruit bowl, so see you later Comix fans! No Tikan! Not the videocamera!

Battle

Hello and welcome to round one of the Comix battle. Two random characters will be pitted against each other and will endure complicated challenges. Without further ado, round one, BEGIN!!!!!!

Round one: Mr. Waffle  V.S   Slobstopper

Stats: Mr. Waffle: 78 years old with a flare for creativity. 35 pounds. Species: waffle. And in the other corner...Slobstopper: 23 years old with O.C.D.  12 pounds, species: pig.

Today the two will compete in the French dip. In this challenge, contestants will dip themselves in french toast syrup and stay in for 1 minute.

Mr. Waffle is approaching the challenge with gusto! He dove in face first!!! Slobstopper seems a bit apprehensive, what, with the sticky saturation I would be too. What's this? It appears that Slobstopper has forfeited the match, which means that Mr. Waffle wins!!!

Lets see that again. Now you'd think a pig would win this match by a longshot, but Slobstopper goes all but hog wild.

That clinches the first match, so be sure to tune in to next week's battle. It'll be a real blast!

The Comix file proudly presents character of the week as of 5/21/12. Quakky has been mentioned in several other posts, so here is his underlying info.

Appearance: A mallard wearing a scarf.

Personality: Rather sarcastic about any given situation.

Friends: Prefers hanging out with Wormo and Epic Face in his spare time.

Job: Taxidermy modeling.

Wonderful pistachios. Epic face does it angrily, Quakky does it on the fly, Shrew doesn't do it. He's allergic. Comix moose does it with a mallot, the Roaches do it headless, and Mimmi wraps it up to go. This info was gathered from the Comix episode " Health nut " in which Shrew Glasses attempts to find out what pistachios taste like without eating one. MALLARDS

Mallard. Mallard. MallaComixfile! Today we spotlight mallards, with their green heads and can do spirit, even when it's obvious they can't. Here are some mallard facts. Mallards are one of the largest, and most common duck on Earth. Females tend to quack louder, and inbreeding is also common in this species.

Now, you may be wondering: "Why do a spotlight post on some random duck?" Well that's because Quakky, a new character, is a mallard. You may remember me mentioning him in a previous post. Here is his picture:

Character of the week

Hello again Comix fans. First of all, i'm sorry for not posting yesterday, but would you post on Mother's day? I certainly wouldn't. Today we have a very special show, as we will be announcing the character of the week, who is none other than...... TIKAN!!!!!







Appearance: Tikan is a blackish gray toucan with several different colored stripes on his beak.

Personality: A bit of a smart - alec.          Friends: He often says "Who needs friends?" and refers to the gang as acquaintances.        Job: Creative writer, flight attendant.       Uses: Can lift immense weight and fly.

NEWS FLASH

Hey Comix fans, T.C.F. is back with an urgent message on the radar. You know how we at the Comix file are affiliated with Ben's blog? Well I have some new characters from Ben's comic, The Super Zero Squad. To sum up the comic for those of you who don't know, Ben's comic is about a dim witted moose, a lazy genius slug, and hateful zebra who decided to start a super hero organization for animals. Given everyone's conflicting personalities, everything goes terribly wrong. Some animal squadders are named after real superheroes, and I have a few of those. We have Yellow canary, Boar, the Fanatic Five, and Wallrus, parodies of Black canary, Thor, the Fantasic Five, and Wally. Hello and welcome to the featured character of the week for this week of the Comix file. Today we honor Mr. Cockroach and answer all questions you may have about this character.

Appearance: Mr. Cockroach is, well, just an average cockroach that wears a tuxedo.

Friends: Comix moose

Relations: Mrs. Cockroach

Enemies: Shrew glasses. For some reason.

Uses: none.

Job: Boom operator.

Misc: 1 inch tall, skilled with a flail, hates seagulls, and can jump at least 5 feet easily.

A gaggle of goose-heads

Hello and welcome to the first of two posts for today, in honor of the Comix file's return. In this new segment, I will mention some characters that have not yet been released. Our first character is Dorp, a purple bird that can only say its name. Next is Shrew Glasses, a shrew with glasses (the picture is without glasses.).  Aardvark Mustache is Shrew's best friend, and is a nerd looking for love. ( he couldn't make it for a picture.) Depressed Ham is a hock short of a smile, unlike his brother, Hamilton. Slakko and Flati are a leopard gecko and flounder who are always making mischeif. They were too busy vandalizing a bus to pause for a pic.   Well, with that, I think it's time to wrap up part one. Comix out.

We interrupt the Comix file to bring you this news bulletin: Epic face has gotten a job as a stunt double. In related news, Epic face is raging downtown in evil form. I am recieving word that he was stunt doubling in the Super Slug movie "Tour" and found out what he was being payed per week. Not a good amount. In unrelated news, I am being mauled by a racoon. So while I get my rabies shots, enjoy this photo.
