Trivia

Welcome to Comix! Has your search for random facts has brought you back for more trivia? Of course it has, and I'm not going to keep you waiting. Did you know...

Random symbols used in cartoons and comics to indicate swearing, such as "&$#@!" are called grawlix.

A sardine is not a species of fish, rather the name sardine refers to any type of small pickled fish.

Cold weather can cause your fingernails to grow faster.

Because camel humps store fat, undernourished camels do not have humps.

And finally, 15 animal species have the same amount of chromosomes as humans. They are the muntjac, black rat, European hare, nilgai, Kirk's dik-dik, grey vole, large bentwing bat, Bolivian tuco-tuco, Grevy's zebra, crowned lemur, red titi monkey, Merriam's ground squirrel, southern short-tailed shrew, mountain beaver, and beach vole.
